Anyone Can Learn Persian with The Persian Tutor!!   

Introduction

      Persian uses a completely different alphabet than English which uses the Roman alphabet. 
Most Persian letters and sounds have an English equivalent.  In addition to the Persian script,
Persian Tutor provides you with the sound  written with the English alphabet.  This is called
transliteration and will help you phonetically produce sounds and read words.    

    The more difficult Persian sounds will take time to master. You will practice them over and over
as you proceed through Persian Tutor!

Vowels

    Learn the vowels with artistic animation in the same manner as above. An Interactive Alphabet Tutor
is provided for the vowels as well.

    Test your knowledge of the Persian letters and sounds that you have learned with the quizzes in this section.

The Persian Alphabet          

There are four aspects of the Interactive Alphabet Tutor:  1) Names   2) Phonetics (or Sounds)  3) Review and
4) On Your Own. The first two, Names and Phonetics, will require that you repeat either the name or the sound
of the letters presented. In Review you are asked to produce either the names or sounds of the letters in order
or in random order as they are presented.  n On Your Own you may click on any letter of the Persian alphabet
and hear the name and sound of that letter.
