OCR Office, optical character recognition OCR stands for Optical Character Recognition. When a text document is scanned, the computer recognizes this text as a graphical image. The text cannot be used, searched or edited, as it is an image. OCR programs are designed to read this scanned text, recognize it, then convert the various figures and characters into a text document.

The OCR, backed by Sakhr's experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), can solve the Arabic language challenges presented in its cursiveness, character overlapping, various character shapes, and diacritics.
